T. MILLER GALLERY - Anthony Miller

The T MILLER GALLERY was founded by Mr. Anthony O. Miller. A native of Indianapolis, Indiana and a resident of the Washington Metropolitan Area for many years. Presently retired from the Washington Hospital Center, started in the Department of Cardiology, started on the business of Art management in the mid-80’s working with a close friend (like brothers) Karl J. Graham, of the Graham Collection, he learned the skills necessary to operate a gallery, identify talents in artist and recognize quality art.

When starting out, they worked as a team doing home based shows as well as various artist markets, i.e. The Black Memorabilia Show in Washington, DC. The Black Doll Sho, AFRAM in Btimore, Maryland and the Juneteenth Festival at the Anacostia Museum. In 1994, The Gram Collection Gallery was opened and operated a successful Art gery in the Adams Morgan section of DC and later relocated to the Brookland/Catholic University area.

Anthony's expertise has grown to include creating Art events and played a key role in the creation of such annual events as the Christmas in October, which showcased the works of local and national artists living in the Brookland/Catholic University area. Anthony has worked closely with any talented artist. He helped them to develop their skills, recognize their talents, enhance their potential and increased their confidence.

These experiences have played a part of instilling in him an acute awareness and understanding of how a viable and successful gaery can be operated as a community base for the people and the artists.
